Many people, especially basketball players, dream of joining their favorite NBA teams.
These include LA Lakers, Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics, and other fan-favorite NBA teams. Of course, only those with extreme basketball skills can join them, but they still need to prove their worth before entering the starting five or even playing in an official game.
However, unskilled basketball players can still join the NBA (somehow). Those not gifted with extreme skills can be in the NBA draft, thanks to the so-called B List.
What is NBA B List?
According to Inquirer.Net's latest report, 18 individuals are officially draft-eligible at Barclays Center in New York.

They are all included in the so-called NBA B List. However, all of these NBA basketball applicants are not getting drafted. Almost anyone can apply for the NBA B List. All they need to do is to fill out the necessary documents.
This process enables people with no real basketball talent to apply for the NBA draft.
The NBA B List is no longer new since it has been done for over a half-century now. The rules in the NBA B List are simple; as long as applicants meet the general criteria of the NBA, they can be draft eligible.
NBA B List's Other Details
Associated Press explained that NBA B List applicants should be at least 19 years old during the calendar year.
Aside from this, applicants who are graduating from high school need to ensure that at least one NBA season happens before they graduate.
They must show their interest in applying two months before the official NBA draft.
The NBA B List may sound useless to some people, but many basketball players have used this avenue to take their shots to become official NBA players.
The National Basketball Association doesn't provide specific details about the NBA B List. But, numerous sources stated that hundreds of applicants used this avenue to try their luck.
