Harrison Ford has finally weighed in on the "Is it okay to punch a Nazi" debate, which has dominated the internet for six years.

Indiana Jones has to be at the top of the list of fictional characters who are renowned for striking Nazis. So one might ask what Harrison Ford, the actor who plays Indiana Jones, has to say about that.

With Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny shortly to be released in theaters, Harrison Ford was asked by Yahoo if he believes Indiana Jones would still be punching Nazis today, given their unfortunate comeback. The approach is 100% Harrison Ford.

Harrison Ford Speaks Out About Punching Nazis

Would Indiana Jones approve of individuals punching Nazis? "He'd push 'em out of the way to get in the first punch. As well he should, " stated Ford.

In Raiders of the Lost Ark, set in 1936, he battled Nazis; in Last Crusade, set in 1938, he fought them; and in Dial of Destiny, both during World War II and in 1969, he will fight them again.

Finding a query about one of his characters that he enjoys answering, Ford told Yahoo that Indiana Jones would not only strike a Nazi, but he would also shove others out of the way to get the first swing.

"Would Indiana Jones punch a Nazi?" is not a debatable question because Harrison Ford has enthusiastically punched Hitler's followers in no less than two films. But with another Nazi-punching installment, Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny, on the horizon, Yahoo Entertainment deemed it a great moment to get Ford's final word on the matter.

During the 2017 presidential inauguration, neo-Nazi Richard Spencer, who coined the term "alt-right" and received glowing profiles in national newspapers for wearing a suit and having a haircut, was punched in the head as he displayed his "little froggy pin."

This incident sparked a cultural debate. Spencer has since vanished from public view following an acrimonious divorce in which it was revealed, among other things, that he had assaulted his pregnant wife.

Ford Don't Want to be Rich by Making Film

Meanwhile, Harrison Ford, who reportedly has a net worth of over $300 million, did not leave carpentry and enter acting for the money.

This statement is made prior to the June 30 release of the 80-year-old actor's next film, Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny. Indeed, the film is a substantial one.

Box Office Pro predicts that the sequel will gross over $300 million. His estimated salary for the film ranges from $25 million to $65 million.

In addition to the Indiana Jones films, the spouse of Ally McBeal alumna Calista Flockhart has worked on the Star Wars films, and he is presently working on the television series Shrinking.

The Hollywood icon, who will turn 81 in July, stated, "I undoubtedly love making movies more than I ever have."

Harrison stated earlier this year that he had always desired a conclusion to the Indiana Jones saga. Since 1981, the veteran actor has portrayed the eponymous character in the lucrative film franchise. In Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, he cherished the opportunity to resurrect the character, according to Daily Mail.
