Google confirmed the dates for its annual I/O 2014 Developers conference to be held in Moscone West in San Francisco, June 25 and 26, 2014.

Google's I/O 2013 conference was a phenomenal success with several announcements made during its three-hour Keynote. In answer to eager expectations, the web giant  officially announced the dates for its seventh annual I/O 2014 Developers conference that will take place in Moscone West in San Francisco. Sundar Pichai, the head of Chrome and Android, said that the show is scheduled for June 25-26, but with a revamped sign-up process.

Pichai made the announcement via his Google+ blog Wednesday, detailing the new registration process that bypasses the mix-up when the second registration opens. The new system will randomly choose successful applicants and  notify them accordingly. Further details on the new process will be shared some time in March.

Google's I/O keynotes and sessions are popular for their surprising revelations. End users and developers have a lot to look forward from Google I/O 2014. Google's I/O conference last year, which was conducted in May, introduced new apps and features such as Android Studio, Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition, Google play Music All Access, Google+ Photos with amazing features, Hangouts, upgraded Maps and so much more. Google displayed its generosity at the event by distributing free Chromebook Pixels to all attendees.

Besides the date, there is no further information on Google I/O 2014. The official Google I/O website looks the same with highlights from last year's developers' conference. But Pichai's post shows that the event will be a two-day show, instead of three days. The event houses about 5,000 developers, media and observers. Since the registration process is going to be a random selection, it is only for Google to decide how many developers will be sharing their meaningful thoughts and experiments at the conference.
