The terrifying moment when a train collides with a pickup vehicle involved in a recent deadly accident is caught on camera by Odessa Fire Rescue.

A white minivan, which can be seen driving east on Murphy Street in the video, allegedly refused to give way to a pickup truck traveling west, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).

The minivan's driver tried to turn into a cross street without stopping for the truck, according to DPS, which caused a collision, per Fox News.

The collision caused the vehicle pulling the flatbed trailer to come to a stop on the railway tracks just in front of an oncoming freight train.

Jesus Guadalupe Laredo, 28, of Corpus Christi, Texas, the truck's driver, was able to exit the vehicle before it was hit by the train.

The vehicle and its trailer were split apart after the accident, and the trailer then crashed into a nearby electric pole and disintegrated. Dust and debris were scattered all over the area as a result of the vehicle being propelled forward and toppling over onto its side.
