Unforeseen side effects of the Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine resulted in the death of a medical professional after he received the injection.

Unfortunate Passing

Stephen Wright, 32, a psychologist for the National Health Service (NHS) in south-east London, passed away only 10 days after his first dosage in January 2021, as determined by senior coroner Andrew Harris.

According to BBC News, Dr. Wright had a stroke because of a brain clot after getting the vaccination. Charlotte, his wife, has been attempting to modify the phrase "natural causes" on her spouse's death certificate for some time.

Due to a possible association with very uncommon blood clots, the jab was discontinued for individuals under the age of 40 in May 2021.

A Widow's Anguish

Together with hundreds of other individuals, Charlotte Wright is suing the pharmaceutical corporation.

Senior coroner Harris characterized the incident as "very unusual and deeply tragic" in court documents filed with the London Inner South Coroner's Office.

Mrs. Wright, a mother of two from Sevenoaks, Kent, said outside the courthouse, "It provides relief, but it doesn't provide closure. I think we're only going to get that when we have an answer from AstraZeneca and the government."

She added, "I find it very comforting that I have two boys that remind me of him every day. I'm just very thankful that I got to marry such a great man and raise our boys in his honor."

Mrs. Wright, who was on maternity leave when her husband passed away, claimed that she had to rely on food banks until she got £120,000 (about $149,000) from the government's Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme (VDPS). Her children are now ages 9 and 3 and are in school full-time.

According to NHS data, just 63 out of 4,178 claims received by the VDPS resulted in payouts as of March 21.

Complicated Repercussions

As per the UK government, some of the possible adverse reactions to the AstraZeneca vaccination include increased heart rate, difficulty breathing, and swelling of the face, lips, and neck.

Studies into the cause of this phenomenon have shown that the vaccination may set off a complicated chain reaction in the immune system, leading to the formation of blood clots.

The MHRA, which is the UK's regulatory agency for pharmaceuticals, is keeping an eye on how the vaccination is doing.

More than 1,300 fatalities have been reported to the authorities as possibly being caused by the AstraZeneca injection, despite more than 50 million doses having already been administered. For vaccines or medications to be approved by the MHRA, the agency insists that their benefits must be greater than their hazards.

The UK government thinks the immunization program averted more than 80,000 Covid fatalities in the first six months after its 2021 launch.

Mrs. Wright told the BBC last year, "Being in the profession he was in, I truly believe that if he had been told all of the possible reactions, he would have still taken it [the vaccine] because I am aware it is a rare situation."
