Cody Ware's Career Highlights

Cody Ware skipped this weekend's race at Bristol Motor Speedway's dirt track because, according to a statement released by his father's Cup Series team, Rick Ware Racing, the driver needed time to deal with a "personal matter." Matt Crafton, a regular in the Craftsman Truck Series, replaced Ware in the No. 51 Ford and finished 34th overall due to an engine problem.

Since 2017, Cody Ware has competed in the Cup Series. His career high is sixth place, achieved in August at Daytona International Speedway, one of 97 races he has started.

During the 2019-2020 season of the Asian Le Mans Series, Cody Ware was part of a team that claimed victory in the LMP2-Am category. Since joining RWR, he has competed once in the Rolex 24 and made three appearances in IndyCar races, according to Motorsport.com.
