Jim McKelvey recalls two recollections of Bob Lee: the day he persuaded him to work at Square at his wedding in St. Louis and Jack Dorsey's effusive praise of Lee's code.

Bob Lee Final Moments Before Death Caught on Camera

Prior to his October move to Miami, Lee had resided in St. Louis and around the Bay Area. According to his friends, he was only touring the city when stabbed. The murder of Lee has sparked criticism and calls for measures to reduce citywide crime.

The newspaper reports that he is gripping his side with one hand and his phone with the other. Walking behind the Bay Bridge, he crosses Harrison Street and approaches a white Toyota Camry, which some suspect may be the ride-sharing service he requested.

Lee raises his shirt to reveal his stab wounds, and the automobile departs. Lee then stumbles up the hill and collapses in front of the Portside apartment complex at 403 Main Street.

Elon Musk asked the San Francisco district attorney, Brooke Jenkins, what she is doing to "incarcerate violent serial criminals" in response to the murder of Lee.

Lee, the father of two small kids, relocated to Miami with his father in October 2022. According to some stories, his wife, Krista, still resides in San Francisco. Lee's father referred to him as a "bachelor," although it was unclear if he and his wife were still together.

TechTimes reports that the San Francisco Police Department said the murderer responsible for the death of Bob Lee remains at large. In Lee's case, the officials have not made an arrest. The SFPD is currently requesting assistance from residents who witnessed the crime.
