WWE WrestleMania 39: Here's What You Need To Know About Wrestling's 'The Grandest Stage' This Year

Returning legendary wrestlers and famous personalities outside the WWE universe hype up this year's WrestleMania.

SoFi Stadium in Inglewood is ready for the biggest wrestling event of the year: WrestleMania 39. The matches for the two-night sports entertainment extravaganza were revealed to hype up the WWE Universe.

Six title fights will be held at the pay-per-view event, involving legendary wrestlers John Cena, Trish Stratus, and Lita, and well-known figures outside of the Word Wrestling Entertainment, like Ronda Rousey and Logan Paul, who will be making their WWE WrestleMania comebacks, according to Sports Illustrated.

Both nights of WrestleMania 39 begin at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday and Sunday.

John Cena, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes Top Bill WrestleMania 39

On the first night, the main event of WrestleMania 39 will feature John Cena vs. Austin Theory. The main event of night two will feature Roman Reigns versus this year's men's Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes for the WWE Universal Championship.

There may be some misunderstanding, but WWE already said John Cena's bout will begin the show on Saturday rather than serve as the main event at "The Grandest Stage of Them All."

As the Sunday bill lacks one match compared to the Saturday card, either the length of the matches will be greater on night two, or there may still be time for a bonus WrestleMania segment with superstars like "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Bobby Lashley, Bray Wyatt, and/or LA Knight, according to Cageside Seats.

  • United States Championship: Austin Theory (c) vs. John Cena
  • SmackDown Women's Championship: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Rhea Ripley
  • Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships: The Usos (c) vs. Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens
  • Becky Lynch, Lita & Trish Stratus vs. Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky)
  • Seth Rollins vs. Logan Paul
  • Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio
  • Braun Strowman & Ricochet vs. Street Profits vs. Alpha Academy vs. Viking Raiders

WrestleMania Night 2

  • Undisputed WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes
  • Raw Women's Championship: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Asuka
  • Intercontinental Championship: Gunther (c) vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus
