Thousands offered serious and not-so-serious pieces of advice to the viral TikTok user who caught his mechanic using his car to pick up food at McDonald's.
A TikTok user went viral for a video of a mechanic taking his car to McDonald's after he dropped off his vehicle for an inspection.
In the viral TikTok video posted by user Rique (@euqir78), he recorded a guy walking to his car after leaving a McDonald's. The video now has over 477,000 views, the DailyDot reported.
The caption in the video reads: "When you take your car for an inspection. After a ten-minute walk, you find the mechanic at McDonald's."
Rique said in the video, "He's driving my car after I dropped it off to get inspected. They drove my car to McDonald's. What do I do?"

Social media users offered suggestions on what Rique could do in such a predicament in the McDonald's TikTok video.
Joanna Hannah said, "Should've walked out with him getting in the passenger seat gotten a ride back; they must be done lol."
"I would've got the extra key and stole my car and see what they will say," another user said.
Users pointed out that a test drive is a standard part of the repair procedure; thus, the mechanic in the McDonald's TikTok video may have been picking up food during the test.

Some users commented that although a test drive is anticipated, running chores or getting meals should not be part of it. One user named Steph commented on the viral TikTok video, "Sometimes they drive the car usually around the block to make sure it's no longer displaying noise, shake, etc., not run errands."
