The Brooklyn Nets and Sacramento Kings are reportedly exploring a trade to send Jason Terry and Reggie Evans to Sacramento in exchange for Marcus Thornton.  Both teams were previously linked to discussions with the Cleveland Cavaliers for Jarrett Jack.

Sacramento and Brooklyn have talked about a trade involving Terry and Evans for Thornton, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

"Sacramento and Brooklyn discussing a deal centered on Marcus Thornton for Jason Terry and Reggie Evans, league sources tell Yahoo Sports," Wojnarowski tweeted on Tuesday.

Both teams appear ready to move pieces around in their backcourt ahead of Thursday's trade deadline.

Terry's name was linked to trade talks with Cleveland.  The Nets explored the possibility of a deal involving Terry for Jack, according to both ESPN and the Akron Beacon Journal.

Both media outlets also reported the Kings as another team interested in Jack.  Sacramento was said to be willing to offer Jason Thompson or Thornton for the Cavaliers' backup guard.

Terry, Thornton and Evans all are under contract for another season, and Thompson is under contract for another three seasons.

The NBA trade deadline is on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 3:00 p.m. ET.
