Angelina Jolie had suspicions that her then-husband Brad Pitt was having an affair with their children's nanny prior to their shocking divorce.

When she witnessed the 'Bullet Train' star flirting with their nanny, the 'Maleficent' actress feared that the nanny was having an affair with the Hollywood hottie.

A source said that Brad Pitt's politeness and good manners with the staff were misinterpreted by the nanny as flirtation. "[Brad's] always been well-liked and nice with the staff, but it became clear that this nanny was flirting with him and being a bit too friendly," the person added.

Angelina Jolie "noticed that the nanny was usually at the pool when Brad was there," a source claimed, adding that her "paranoia got even more intense" when she spotted the nanny smiling as she watched Pitt emerge from the shower.

Per The News, the source went on to say that during Jolie's discussion with the nanny, "a massive shouting match occurred." Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who have six children together, announced their split in 2016, claiming irreconcilable differences, after a 12-year relationship.

The relationship between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is worsening. Currently, the two appear to be at odds over their wine firm. Given Pitt's court declarations, the actor claimed that Jolie had committed to never sell her holdings, which turned out to be false.

"Pitt's allegations that he and Angelina Jolie had a secret, unwritten, unspoken contract to a consent right on the sale of their interests in the property are directly contradictory to the written record and, among other legal defects, in violation of the Statute of Frauds and public policy," the court wrote.

In court filings, Jolie called her ex-spouse malicious and frivolous, adding gasoline to the flames. Jolie reportedly mentioned an aircraft incident in which she said Pitt was too violent towards the children. Clearly, there appears to be no near-term resolution between the two parties, as per MSN.

On Saturday, Brad Pitt was spotted celebrating his 59th birthday with his girlfriend Ines de Ramon at a Hollywood party.
