Quinton Simon's Mom Denies Murdering Tot

The grand jury of Chatham County in Georgia charged Quinton Simon's mom with felonies last Wednesday, December 14. Another is a murder charge for killing him; after the tot's body was discovered in a landfill, reported Meaww.

Leilani Quinton was given several counts of malice murder, two of felony murder, hiding the death of someone, and reporting a false crime as the initial charges. Others are 14 counts of lying to the police, which Chatham County District Attorney Shalena Cook Jones added.

Based on the accusation, Leilani allegedly attacked Quinton with an unidentified object and afterward got rid of his body in the garbage at the Azalea Mobile Home Plaza. The suspected mom reportedly said she was trying to throw out ordinary household rubbish, as noted by the Epoch Times.

Last October 5, 2022, Leilani submitted a report regarding her lost son Quinton. A dumpsite in Chatham County on Little Neck Road has been searched for child's remains for months by various agencies.

Based on the DNA of the bones seen in the dumpsite last November 18 was indeed Quinton's. Besides the charges against the killer mom, who got malice murder and felony murder.

On October 5, the 20-month-old boy was reported missing when the tot's remains were found in a landfill, which later made his mom a suspect. With new developments later on.

The babysitter of the slain toddler had spoken more about the murder case when the cops arrested Leilani. Identified as Diana McCarta, she had been taking care of the tot for about ten months before he reported missing, per The Sun.

She told the authorities that a weird text was sent to her not to babysit the child when the boy was not found later. She remarked what the boy had to suffer when leaving her house on the morning the text was sent. The next shocker came when the DNA tests had verified the worst; remains picked up from the garbage dump that led to asking for justice for Quinton's murder.

McCarta commented the arrest of the guilty mom is about knowing what happened to the tot. Added how any mom could hurt her child, why she would hurt the boy, and what made her think it. She also said justice for the tot would be given, and his mom would pay for the crime. Everyone demands justice for the wrong done to the boy, no matter who.

Later Billie Joe Howell heard that Leilani, her daughter, was checking out of the center, but her status as flight risk was imminent.

Quinton Simon's mom was charged after the tot's remains were identified in a landfill, but she denies the allegations.
