Kanye West is still being held accountable for his anti-Semitic statements after the rapper's well-known divorce lawyers left the Kim Kardashian divorce case.

According to reports, Kanye West's divorce from Kim Kardashian has apparently lost a sixth divorce attorney.

Bernard Clair and Bob Cohen, divorce lawyers in New York, have left West from Cohen Clair Lans Griefer Thorpe and Rottenstreich LLP when he officially changed his name to Ye.

Kanye West's 6th Divorce Lawyer Resigned

According to court records obtained by TMZ, a judge approved Los Angeles-based attorney Samantha Spector's plea to resign from representing the rapper in August, stating that her relationship with West was irreparably damaged. West's sixth divorce lawyer was Spector.

In order to resolve the remaining financial and custody disputes between the former couple, the court also scheduled a two-day trial for December 14.

Melinda Gates was previously represented by Cohen and Clair during her divorce from billionaire Bill Gates, which resulted in a settlement of around $76 billion for her. Additionally, the attorneys have defended comedian Chris Rock and Judith Giuliani, the ex-wife of Rudy Giuliani.

The news is released at a time when the rapper is facing intense criticism for making a number of antisemitic comments in interviews and on social media. This week, Kanye West lost many high-profile endorsement deals and lucrative relationships as a result of his "hateful and dangerous" remarks and theories about Jews. These companies and partnerships included Balenciaga, Adidas, and his talent agency, CAA.

On Tuesday, Kim Kardashian openly expressed her support for the Jewish people by sharing a social media message in response to her ex-antisemitic husband's tirades.
Together, the inventor of Yeezy and the SKIMS billionaire have four kids: North, nine; Saint, six; Chicago, four; and Psalm, three.

Nearly a year after initially filing for divorce, a Los Angeles court ruled that Kardashian was now legally unmarried in March. After six years of marriage, Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West in February 2021, as per The Independent.

Kanye West Drops Off Forbes Billionaires' List

Meanwhile, in reaction to Kanye West's "hateful" and "inexcusable" anti-semitic remarks, GAP and Adidas are the most recent companies to cut their connections with him. The American apparel firm revealed yesterday that it will shut down the related website and instantly remove the fashion designer's Yeezy goods from its stores.

Following days of rising criticism from celebrities on social media, Adidas ultimately revealed it was ending its association with the Grammy winner, who changed his name to Ye last year. Three weeks ago, during Paris Fashion Week, Kanye West donned a 'White Lives Matter' T-shirt, which many people believed to be a racist reaction to the Black Lives Matter movement. This sparked the most recent controversy.

Days later, in reference to the threat level to national security as measured by the US military's Defense Readiness Condition (Defcon), Kanye West said that he was "going death con 3 on Jewish people." Ye was accused of using the phrase incorrectly to launch a figurative battle against Jews, which he later escalated.

Per The Sun, the millionaire continued by asserting that he is the victim of a "Jewish underground media mafia" and that he is not "anti-semitic since black people are truly Jews also." He said he did not regret making his anti-semitic statements during an interview with Piers Morgan on Uncensored on TalkTV, however he later apologized for the "hurt" and "confusion" he had caused.

Kanye West was dropped off Forbes' list of billionaires when it was claimed that his net worth had decreased by $1.5 billion following the anti-semitic controversy.
