The startling reason Prince Harry neglected his brother Prince William in his reconciliation efforts is revealed in a new book.

To mend fences with Prince William, Prince Harry shockingly ignored him, according to a new book.

One difficult occasion during the brothers' feud occurred when Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton thought a now-famous media appearance was a deliberate attempt to knock the Cambridges out of the headlines, according to author Valentine Low.

Prince Harry Turned Down Prince William's Offer to Reconcile

A recent book claims that Prince William, the new Prince of Wales, attempted to contact his younger brother after the interview was televised. After the Sussexes gave a shocking interview to ITV on their tour of South Africa in 2019, Prince William, 40, allegedly started to worry about the couple's misery, as per New York Post

Prince Harry was initially believed to be open to the idea, but turned him down after growing worried that word of their meeting might be leaked by royal staff, Courtiers, 'The Hidden Power Behind the Crown,' a new book, claims.

Prince Harry was initially in favor and asked his brother again who he was going to tell. To free up his schedule, Prince William stated, he would need to inform his private secretary. "Don't come," Prince Harry commanded at that moment.

The Duke of Sussex preferred to avoid seeing his brother rather than take the chance that Prince William's team will leak information about the visit to the media, according to Mirror. The book details the ruckus that occurred when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were having a conversation while the Prince and Princess of Wales were on tour in Pakistan and doing so from a Johannesburg garden.

Meghan Markle discussed her struggles with the duties of royal life and being a new mother with ITV's Tom Bradby. The Duchess of Sussex also disclosed that her alleged tensions were harming both her physical and mental well-being.

Markle said in response to a question about her ordeal, "Thank you for asking not many people have inquired whether I'm OK." Supporters of Prince William and Kate Middleton were incensed by the comments because they saw it as an effort to keep the pair out of the news. Prince William allegedly sent a message to his brother the day the interview aired to ask whether he could visit him, News reported.

Prince Harry, Prince William During Queen Elizabeth II's Funeral

Prince Harry, who has stepped down from his official role as a member of the royal family, attended the state funeral of the Queen alongside his brother, the Prince of Wales.

As the Queen's coffin was carried from Westminster Hall, at the center of the Palace of Westminster, where she had been lying in state, Prince William, wearing his RAF No. 1 uniform, and Prince Harry, wearing traditional funeral wear and medals, marched gently behind their father.

The brothers' cousin Peter Phillips, the Princess Royal's son and the eldest grandson of the Queen had accompanied them as they traveled to the monastery. The Prince of Wales saluted when the coffin was raised from the gun carriage as the procession drew to a stop after its brief circuit of Parliament Square. His brother, meanwhile, lowered his head.

After much debate about them doing so as they left Westminster Hall following the brief liturgy that signaled the beginning of the Queen's lying in state, the couple strolled side by side but without holding hands.

While Prince William and Kate Middleton, whose wedding took place at the abbey more than ten years ago, were across the aisle with their two children, they were sat directly behind the King and Queen Consort, facing the coffin, according to Express.
