According to reports, Meghan Markle is furious with Katy Perry since she commented on the Duchess' wedding dress when the former ‘Suit’ actress married Prince Harry in 2018.

According to reports, Meghan Markle may carry a "grudge" toward American singer Katy Perry after a remark she made regarding the Duchess of Sussex's wedding gown.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex retired from royal responsibilities in 2020 and are now establishing a new life in the United States with their three-year-old son Archie and one-year-old daughter Lilibet.

Meghan Markle's Alleged Feud With Katy Perry

The pair currently lives in Montecito, Santa Barbara, a beautiful Californian community. The little neighborhood on the state's Central Coast is home to several celebrities, including actor Orlando Bloom and his ex-wife Katy Perry. Prince Harry, 37, is said to be settling in well in America, while Meghan, 41, is said to be furious with her neighbor Katy Perry following a remark made about the Duchess' wedding gown in 2018.

When questioned about the wedding during an appearance on Entertainment Tonight to promote American Idol in May 2018, Katy Perry remarked that she "would have done one more fitting." Meghan Markle is reported to have been slighted by the statement since it occurred at a time when the Sussex couple was under enormous pressure in the run-up to their shocking withdrawal from the Firm, dubbed Megxit.

The Duchess of Sussex and Perry both have one-year-old daughters, but an insider quickly dismissed any concept of future playdates for the young children. The Duke of Sussex is said to have made friends with Hollywood star Orlando Bloom, Express reported.

Meghan Markle Feels "Raw" After Reading Manuscript of Prince Harry's Memoir

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle is said to have felt raw after reading the draft for Harry's impending biography. A source close to the two made the assertions amid an ongoing scurry for publishers to get the book out and on shelves in time for the Thanksgiving and Christmas shopping season in the United States.

According to the Duke of Sussex, the explosive memoir will discuss the "experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped form him" during the previous four decades of his life. Based on a source close to the couple, Harry gave his ghostwriter, Pulitzer Prize-winning author JR Moehringer, access to previously unseen documents as they "spent months going through his private photo album, journals, emails, and so forth" to piece together a complete picture of his life so far, as per OK.

The impending novel by Prince Harry, which is claimed to be a bombshell tell-all about his life in the royal family, is said to be essential for his and wife Meghan Markle's purportedly declining finances as they spend money like water.

The Royally US podcast featured royal expert Christina Garibaldi and The Daily Beast's Tom Sykes discussing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's financial situation and the prince's book, with Express UK reporting that they discussed whether the couple has "a lot riding on this book." Prince Harry's forthcoming memoir is slated to be published by Penguin Random House later this year after multiple delays since it was announced last year in July, according to The News.
