Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James once again created a buzz due to his remarks about the attitude of Boston Celtics fans.

In the latest episode of The Shop, James discussed the Boston Celtics and the reason why he hates playing against the Eastern Conference team, as per a report from Sports Illustrated.

LeBron James said this is why: "Cause they [the fans] are racist as f--k."

The four-time NBA champion went on: "They will say anything. And it's fine. It's my life, f--k I've been dealing with it my whole life. I don't mind it. I hear it. If I hear somebody close by, I check them real quick, then move on to the game. They're going to say whatever the f--k they want to say."

Boston Celtics Fans React

James has faced the Celtics several times throughout his career per The Spun. Most of their intense battles have taken place in the playoffs.

LeBron James made the comments on his HBO show "The Shop" came after superstar guard Kyrie Irving's controversial statements a year ago for calling Boston fans racist.

The "FCK LBJ" shirt that he is pointing to was indeed made by one of Boston's longtime vendors, but the Celtics decided not to offer it in our online store since; According to the Celtics did not sell the garment. It was offered for sale outside TD Garden. Hence, some Celtics defenders called James' comments lazy.

One article defended Boston fans, saying: "A fan throwing a drink on LeBron James ten years ago makes that fan a jerk, but unless there is more to that incident it doesn't automatically equate as racist. Also, it's unfair to paint a whole city as racist due to the words or actions of a few idiots."

The piece added that it is incorrect to assume that all of the fans at TD Garden are yelling offensive language. So Celtics fans demand LeBron James show up on several occasions with concrete examples right now.

Celtics Life reported that, ironically, James is a part owner of the Boston Red Sox for being an investor in the Fenway Group. He reportedly claimed in 2017 that he had never been the recipient of racial epithets in Boston, per TMZ.
