Kanye West Reportedly Taking Break From Music Industry

Vory, Kanye West's Donda record collaborator, has revealed that West is on a musical hiatus. According to Vory, 44, West was not present at Vory's Lost Souls album release party, implying that the fashion icon is taking a vacation from music. Vory's album Lost Souls was published last Friday, including a piece written in cooperation with West. West, E. Vax, Ojivolta, and 88-Keys created the song "Daylight."

The rapper was signed to Meek Mill's Dream Chasers Records in 2020 and appeared on West's Donda album, however, the Lost Souls collaboration did not make the final edit of Donda. Vory's comments came when word leaked that West had broken up with his girlfriend of five months, Chaney Jones. According to TMZ, the father of four children with former Kim Kardashian and Jones called it quits following a vacation to Japan. It is unknown who started the purported split.

Jones, a model, has removed all traces of West from her Instagram account, leaving just two photos of herself for followers. The couple has not commented on their breakup, People reported.
