Brad Pitt has accused his ex-wife Angelina Jolie of attempting to "inflict harm" on him and his interests in the winery they formerly co-owned by selling her half to a "stranger."

The feud between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has taken a nasty turn. Brad Pitt, 58, has accused the Maleficent actress of attempting to harm him by surreptitiously selling her part in his French vineyard to a Russian billionaire with nefarious motives, including a plot to gain entire control of the multi-million dollar enterprise.

Angelina Jolie, 47, sold half of the successful Chateau Miraval winery to a business headed by Yuri Shefler, the owner of the company that produces the trademark Russian vodka Stolichnaya, which has been renamed Stoli.

Lawsuit: Angelina Jolie Tried To 'Harm' Brad Pitt

The Stoli brand has become a big international liability as a result of "desperate attempts to dissociate himself from the Putin administration," according to the publications, citing Putin's invasion of Ukraine. According to court documents, the South of France castle where the couple married in 2014 became Pitt's passion and has become one of the world's most highly acclaimed producers of rosé wine under his direction.

As per the papers filed by Pitt's solicitors, Jolie pretended to sell her investment to Tenute del Mondo, a hostile third-party rival focused on gaining control of Miraval in October 2021. According to the documents, Jolie's purpose for the transaction was to "inflict harm on Pitt."

The date of the transaction was tied to a judge's decision to grant a provisional judgment handing Pitt 50/50 custody over the couple's five minor children at the time, Daily Mail reported. The former couple agreed to sell their $164 million French houses in September, paving the door for the Girl, Interrupted star to sell her part of the Chateau Miraval.

Timing of Sale Linked to Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie's Custody Battle

Despite the arrangement, the 58-year-old launched a lawsuit against Angelina Jolie, alleging she was attempting to sell her interests in the property without giving Brad Pitt the right of first refusal and profit. Maddox, 20, Pax, 18, Zahara, 17, Shiloh, 16, and Vivienne and Knox, 13, are the children of the feuding parents. Lawyers for the mother of six previously accused the Seven star of abusing his celebrity position to modify their parenting agreement.

In May 2021, Brad Pitt was granted joint custody of their children. While Brad hasn't said much about their breakup, Angelina Jolie has stated that the events have left her shattered, as per The Sun. As per the court documents, the pair married in the castle in the South of France in 2014, and it became Brad Pitt's love as well as one of the world's well-known producers of rosé wine.

However, things became complicated in October 2021 when Angelina Jolie purported to sell her interest to Tenute del Mondo, a hostile third-party competitor bent on taking control of Miraval, according to documents filed by Brad Pitt's attorneys, who claim the Maleficent actress' motivation was well malevolent.

After more than a decade together, Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in 2016, alleging irreconcilable differences. Angelina revealed the breakup in an interview with Vogue India in June, explaining that the choice was made for the well-being of her children, according to Hollywood Life.
