Toriah Lachell is a professional hairstylist who rose to prominence for her romance with professional basketball player Jayson Tatum, who plays for the Boston Celtics, and she is Deuce Tatum's mom.

But no matter how much they were in love with each other, Jayson and Toriah's love affair failed to endure and the two broke up not too long after their son was born into their lives. According to reports from online tabloids, the Celtics forward moved on fast to a new romantic relationship with Samie Amos, a former Duke volleyball player.

Lachell and Tatum did not get married, though they have a lovely baby boy. Their baby boy is named Jayson Christopher Tatum Jr. Or simply Deuce. He was born in December 2017.

In 2015, NBA player Lou Williams, who played as a guard for the Los Angeles Clippers at that time alleged that Jayson Tatum was cheating on Toriah. According to Williams, Tatum got romantically involved with two ladies at the same time while he was still dating Toriah.
