Kim Kardashian scores big as the court dismisses Blac Chyna's defamation claims against her, but the family of Kanye West's ex-wife remains in fight against the lawsuit.

The reality TV star Kim Kardashian won a major win as a court dismissed Blac Chyna's defamation lawsuit against her.

Kim Kardashian, 41, her sisters Khloe, 37, and Kylie, 24, as well as their mother, Kris Jenner, 66, are being sued for defamation and contract interference. The 33-year-old American model said the Kardashians tried to have her Keeping Up With the Kardashians' spinoff, Rob & Chyna, canceled before the second season.

Kim Kardashian's Family Still Faces Trial Against Blac Chyna

Several members of the Kardashian and Jenner families testified throughout the trial that Blac Chyna was abusive to Rob Kardashian during the couple's tumultuous relationship. According to the charges, Blac Chyna assaulted reality TV star Rob Kardashian with a pistol and a pole. When she held a pistol to Rob's head and struck him with a pole, Chyna told the court last week that she was 'just kidding.'

She stated the threat wasn't serious and that Rob seemed amused by her behavior. On Friday, Michael Rhodes, the Kardashians' lawyer, submitted a request for a directed verdict, asking Judge Gregory Alarcon to dismiss Blac Chyna's defamation charges against four family members, according to Mirror.

While being found not guilty of defamation is a significant triumph for Kim Kardashian, she is not yet out of the woods. She is still facing a charge of willfully tampering with a contract, which she has yet to be cleared off. While Kim Kardashian has been exonerated of the accusation, other members of her family, including Khloé, Kylie, and Kris Jenner, have yet to be cleared.

Many members of the KarJenner family, including the millionaire entrepreneur, have testified during the trial following Blac Chyna's complaint. Kim Kardashian told the jury that watching her brother's response had made her emotional. "I was irritated by Rob's emotional outburst," she explained, as per Hollywood Life.

Kim Kardashian's Claim About Ray J's Tape

Meanwhile, Ray J has shot down accusations made by Kim Kardashian and Kanye West regarding the controversial sex video. On the most recent episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West disclosed that the rapper recovered the remaining sections of the obscene footage.

Ray J, 41, retaliated, calling the ex-charges couple's untrue. The footage from the encounter was uploaded on social media by Hollywood Unlocked, forcing the One Wish singer to respond in the comments. Screenshot, according to Reddit.

Kim Kardashian told her mother, Kris Jenner, sister, Khloe Kardashian, and numerous other female friends about her ex's gift. The rapper Donda then emerged with a black suitcase, which Kim opened to reveal the contents within.

Kris, 66, was taken aback when the SKIMS founder said Kanye received all of the sex tapes back. Kim Kardashian, meantime, took out components of the computer from the bag.

When the sex tape was produced, the beauty entrepreneur and her ex-boyfriend Ray J were both 22 years old. The recording threatened to derail Kim's career before it ever got started, but in the end, it was instrumental in her rise to prominence.

When Vivid Entertainment published Kim Kardashian: Superstar in March 2007, she was still a relative unknown. After Ray J stated there was another filthy film, Kim's sex clip entered the top hits list on renowned pornographic site Pornhub in April. Meanwhile, after nearly seven years of marriage, Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2021 and has lately recovered her single status, The Sun reported.
