Two key executives on former President Donald Trump's Truth Social app resign following a slew of problems since its launch.

On Monday, it was revealed that two tech executives had left Trump's floundering social media business, Truth Social, and that the platform is just now advertising for an engineer to help create an Android app, depriving millions of Trump followers of the opportunity to sign up.

According to reports, two executives have departed the firm, and some customers who downloaded the social networking app are still on a long waiting list. When former US President Donald Trump created a new social networking platform in February, the app had a stumbling start but quickly rose to the top of Apple's free app charts within its first week.

Trump's Social Media Platform Still Faces Issues

When trying to create an account, some customers who downloaded the app received error warnings while others were placed on a long waiting list. Truth Social is still having issues more than a month after its launch. Despite Truth Social's objective of making the platform fully functioning, people are still waiting to get onto the app, as per CNET.

Josh Adams and Billy Boozer resigned as chiefs of technology and product development after less than a year on the job. Their resignation come after a rocky launch of the company's iPhone app on February 20. Former Republican congressman Devin Nunes, the CEO of Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), stated publicly that the business hoped to have the app fully functioning in the United States by the end of March.

According to industry observers, the app has been downloaded 1.2 million times in total, putting it significantly behind other conservative-targeted applications like Parler (11.3 million) and GETTR (6.8 million). Two sources familiar with the firm said that the departure of two executives essential to the app launch preparations might jeopardize the company's development as it strives to prove it can compete with mainstream platforms like Twitter.

According to a person familiar with the company, Boozer also served as product chief, overseeing the administration of the technical infrastructure, design, and development teams. It is the latest bad news for Trump and his highest-profile business venture since leaving the White House.

A recent industry report said Truth Social was deployed at a rate of only 60,000 per week in the previous month. GETTR, which was founded by former Trump adviser Jason Miller, debuted a new feature on Monday that includes closed caption live subtitling of live streams in 12 languages.

In a statement, Miller said, "GETTR continues to develop and deliver great new services to our worldwide free speech community," according to Daily Mail.

Trump's Family Still Depends on Twitter

Meanwhile, members of Trump's own family do not appear to be excited about the agenda. Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., didn't even join the app until last week. Trump Jr., has been very active since then, tweeting 36 times since March 28, and he still has a sizable Twitter following.

Eric Trump, the other politically engaged son of the former president, joined Truth Social on February 20 but has only written eight 'truths' since then. Eric Trump has used Twitter nearly twice as frequently in the same period, retweeting or tweeting at least 14 times.

Tiffany and Ivanka Trump's accounts on Truth Social aren't even verified. Tiffany isn't as active on social media as Ivanka, but she is on Twitter daily, indicating that another Trump kid supports her father's opponent.

Since its introduction, Trump has only used the app once. "Get Ready! Your beloved President will see you soon!"  Trump said more than a month ago, and he hasn't said anything since. Trump had 836,000 Truth Social followers as of Monday, compared to almost 15 million followers on Twitter throughout his administration, Newsweek reported.
