A TikTok sensation shared a helpful tip to avail of major discounts at Costco.

Lawyer and financial expert Erika Kullberg, with more than 7.7 million followers as of present writing, reveals a hack on getting great discounts even you have already purchased an item.

In her 19-second video clip titled "What Costco doesn't want you to know about getting money back," Kullberg acts out an interaction between a customer and salesperson at the major American retailer.

The customer just bought a TV recently, and it is $400 off now, but the salesperson said there's nothing she could do about it.

However, the customer pointed out that Costco's term as a price adjustment policy, since the TV was bought three weeks ago, meaning it falls within the price adjustment period of 30 days

The salesperson just answered, "Fine, we'll give you back the $400 difference."

How To Avail Costco's Price Adjustment Credit?

Costco advises customers that purchases made online at Costco.com within 30 days of the price change could be eligible for a price adjustment credit. Credits are usually granted in three to five business days.

End consumers are the only ones eligible for special consideration for promotional pricing. Resellers should purchase the item within the valid promotional dates "to receive the promotional price."

Customers who bought their item at a Costco warehouse site have to inquire at the membership counter at the Costco site where the purchase was made.

Costco does not price match with other retailers. Check if a promotional price was already deducted from your order.

Meanwhile, a financial expert and billionaire investor predicts that Costco is going to go big-time online.

Charlie Munger, chairman of Daily Journal and vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, shares his viewpoints on Costco's operations and stock valuation in a recent forum organized by Yahoo! Finance.

Munger said that Costco will be "an absolute titan on the internet" due to its curated products that have to earn the trust of everyone and for the "huge purchasing power on a "limited number of stocking units."

The financial expert said that the retail giant will become "a big, powerful company as far ahead as you see," which it deserves because of its good culture and "good moral ethos."
