A Super Bowl XLVIII commercial for the camera company GoPro will feature the "space jump" performed by daredevil Felix Baumgartner.

The famous jump consisted of a 24-mile free fall. They skydiver accelerated to 843.6 miles per hour in 50 seconds, Space.com reported.

The jump was recorded with seven GoPro HERO2 video cameras attached to Baumgartner's body.

"From the depths of the ocean to the far reaches of Earth's atmosphere, GoPro cameras make it possible to capture all of life's incredible moments. GoPro's Super Bowl XLVIII commercial documents one man's extraordinary courage to jump from the edge of space-with GoPro cameras recording every record-breaking moment," the company said in a news release.

The commercial features the moment Baumgartner took the jump and watches from the craft as his body gets progressively smaller and farther away.

"The whole world is watching. I'm coming home now," Baumgartner says right before taking the record-breaking plunge.

Baumgartner broke three world records on the day of the jumps, one of which was breaking the speed of sound during his fall.

A newly-released eight-minute-long video documents the entire fall from the second Baumgartner took the leap all the way to touchdown.

"From the airless freeze of outer space, to the record-breaking free fall and momentous return to ground-see it all through Felix's eyes as captured by GoPro, and experience this incredible mission like never before," GoPro officials said, Space.com reported.

"GoPro was honored to be a part of this epic achievement, with seven HERO2 cameras documenting every moment. From the airless freeze of outer space, to the record-breaking free fall and momentous return to ground-see it all through Felix's eyes as captured by GoPro, and experience this incredible mission like never before," the news release reported.
