"Watchmen" actor Matthew Goode has reportedly meet with the "Batman vs. Superman" production team to discuss an unknown role.

According to Comic Book Movie, an inside source revealed Warner Bros. is being eyed for the "Man of Steel" sequel, which is currently set to begin filming.

"Goode was one of several actors on Warner Bros. shortlist for the role of Superman in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, that eventually went to Henry Cavill," Comic Book Movie reports. "And this isn't even the first time Goode's name has been linked to Batman Vs. Superman. Last August, The Hollywood Reporter reported Goode was in contention for the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne, which eventually went to Ben Affleck."

If the rumors of a "Man of Steel 2" actually being a "Justice League" film are true, Goode could be up for a plethora of roles. The actor also has an in with Snyder as he has previously worked with the director on film adaptation of "Watchmen".

The "Batman vs. Superman" camp has not confirmed a meeting with Goode, but production is reportedly in full swing. According to Henry Cavill News, "Man of Steel 2" leading man was spotted in Detroit, Mich. to report on set.

Cavill reportedly chatted up patrons at a local bar called Imperial. Patrons told Henry Cavill News the actor will reportedly plans to be on location for an upwards of ten months.

"My initial thought was 'Whoah, there's a guy just making a living as an actor,'" Adrean Mangiardi told MLive.com about his experience meeting Cavill. "I've seen some his work - TV shows, things like that - but I didn't expect him to show up at Imperial...It was definitely unexpected, but nice. He seemed like just another guy enjoying the night."
