The Empire State Building is teaming up with Verizon Wireless to help fans light up the iconic Manhattan skyscraper with their favorite team's colors through the power of social media.

Football fans are eagerly waiting for the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks to bring their best game on Sunday at the MetLife Stadium, but thanks to Verizon's #WhosGonnaWin campaign all the fans are doubly charged up to show their support for their favorite teams before the big game. As a result of Verizon's partnership with the Empire State Building for this campaign, fans will be able to light up the iconic Manhattan skyscraper with their favorite team's colors.

How does it work?

Verizon will post a game-related question to all the fans on Twitter under the campaign's hashtag #WhosGonnaWin. Fans' responses and conversations will be monitored throughout the day and the Empire State Building's lighting designer Marc Brickman will light up the Empire State Building based on fans' predictions.

"Tweet your answer to the daily question with #WhosGonnaWin and you can light up the night with your team's colors," Verizon said on its new campaign page, which shows daily results as Super Bowl XLVIII nears.

Campaign results so far:

The first question on Twitter asked fans, "Which team will own the running game?" Seattle Seahawks won the night with 69 percent votes in its favor. The second night was also in favor of Seahawks with a very close margin of 56 percent votes for Seattle and 55 percent for Denver. Following the victory on first two nights, Manhattan's iconic skyscraper was lit up with blue and green lights between 6-7 p.m. EST.

The third night had a dramatic draw, as both teams got 71 percent votes for the question; Which team will dominate the passing game?

Day four results are yet to arrive, based on which the Empire State Building will be lit up. So far, Seahawks are leading with 87 percent votes and Broncos is trailing behind with 82 percent. So it is hard to tell whether it is going to be the blue and green color lights on the Empire State Building or it's going to be orange and blue.

The Final Show:

On Super Bowl Sunday, the lights on the Manhattan skyscraper will be synchronized to Super Bowl activities. Red, white and blue lights will be up on the Empire State Building during the national anthem, then a virtual scoreboard will track the action and the halftime will feature the winning team's colors based on fans' predictions.

To mark the end, a light show will celebrate the victory of Super Bowl XLVIII champions and the winning team's colors will be seen through the following day.
