Google Inc. has launched Build with Chrome, a virtual Lego playground that allows users to access all kinds of Lego pieces online.

A couple of years ago, Google started experimenting on virtual Lego bricks. Now, a few weeks before the release of "The Lego Movie," the company has finally released Build Chrome.

Build with Chrome offers a wide variety of virtual Lego Bricks that users can choose from. The colors of the bricks can be changed also in water hue a users wants to. Technically, it is just like building something out of your real Lego but with unlimited bricks, CNET reports.

Upon entry to the virtual Lego playground, users will be offered to "Explore All Builds," "Start Build," and "Build Academy." Those who are already good at making something out of the bricks can start right away, but those who are just beginners, can take the tutorial first.

In the "Build Academy" section of the Web site, users are given a series of challenges that will guide them to be a master builder.

Whereas in the "Explore All Builds" section, through the Google Map interface, users can explore different kinds of Lego buildings made by different Google+ users around the globe.

Building starts with the basic, and that is with learning how to twist and turn your baseplate, zoom in and zoom out, and shift views. Users will also be taught on how to maneuver and modify the shape and colors of the bricks.

The application is not just compatible with personal computers and laptops. It also works well with Chrome mobile browser on Android phones and tablets. Users will just have to enable support for Web GL.

However, Google said that Build with Chrome will only work on Android gadgets with "high-end graphics capabilities."

Surely, everyone, even those who have not experienced playing with a real one, will be delighted to build something out the bricks in the virtual Lego playground.
