A former student at Lindenwood University accused of knowingly infecting others with HIV reportedly filmed his sexual encounters without the consent of his partners.

KMOV reports 22-year-old Michael Johnson is currently charged with five counts of exposing his sexual partners to HIV. However, it wasn't until authorities further investigated Johnson's case that they encountered multiple videos of Johnson engaging in sex acts without using protection. He was reportedly arrested on Oct. 9, 2013.

Prosecutors told KMOV the hidden camera sex tapes were found on his laptop.  Authorities believe Johnson may have purposely infected more than 30 people. The videos were reportedly recorded in Johnson's Lindenwood University dorm room.

"On that laptop were 32 videos engaged in sexual acts with Mr. Johnson," Tim Lohmar, St. Charles County prosecutor, told KMOV.

"It's safe to say that numerous of those videos were taken inside his dorm room; we know that because we recognize the furniture," he added.

According to multiple reports, the county prosecutor confirmed Johnson knew he was HIV positive since Jan. 7, 2013. A handful of Johnson's partners have reportedly come forward to be tested for HIV.

Johnson is currently incarcerated under $100,000 bond and faces life in prison if found guilty on all counts. Those who've had a sexual encounter with Johnson or have any information regarding his case are urged to contact the St. Charles Detective Bureau at 636-949-3330.

According to The Riverfront Times, Johnson met most of his sexual partner's through various social media accounts: three Facebook pages, two Twitter feeds, a Vine and an Instagram. Johnson went by the name Tiger Mandingo on most of his social media accounts, where he posted half naked photos of himself.

Johnson not only risked infecting his partners by having unprotected sex, but the 22-year-old also risked the lives of those he competed with in wrestling matches. Johnson was a member of the University's wrestling team.
