Sprint carrier based Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Smartphone users will now start receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update. The operating system released by Google last year started hitting most of the higher end smartphones by end of 2016. Sprint has also released the Nougat update to other Samsung Galaxy devices superior to the Galaxy Note 5.

According to Droid Life, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Smartphone users on the Sprint will now receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update over-the-air. It is reported that the Nougat update software version carries a build number N920PVPU3DQC5 and weighs around 1.4GB in size.

The Android 7.0 Nougat update not only gives bundled features released by Google but also arrives with the latest March Android security patch. The changes and improvements, which can be found in the update include better notifications, improved battery saving, multi-window mode, and more.

Samsung, the Korean tech giant has recently released the Android 7.0 Nougat update its unlocked flagship Galaxy Note 5 Dual SIM (SM-N208) over-the-air. The build number of the update is N9208XXU3CQC6, which also accompanies the March security patch update. The Nougat update carries split-window mode, improved menu settings, improved user interface and notification controls.

Also, the Samsung has started pushing the Android 7.0 Nougat update to single SIM Galaxy Note 5 smartphones in different regions. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Single SIM users in India have already started receiving the update as firmware build N920GDDU3CQC7.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Smartphone users are requested to wait for the Android 7.0 Nougat update notification to hit the screen or the users can check the update manually by heading over to Settings > About device > System updates. The users are advised to have at least 50 percent battery power and good Wi-Fi connection prior to the start of download and installation process.
