Backstreet Boys and Florida Georgia Line created history recently when they teamed up to perform live on stage at the fifty-second Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM) in Las Vegas on Sunday. The T-Mobile Arena was the venue where history was created and later Backstreet Boys also tweeted about having an incredible night at the annual event.

The fifty-second Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM) night saw the audiences grooving to the tunes of Backstreet Boys and Florida Georgia Line when the duo came together for a historical live performance. According to People, the two gave an epic performance of "God, Your Mama, and Me" from their hit collaboration and it had the entire crowd swooning to the beats which included the likes of Nicole Kidman, Carrie Underwood, and Faith Hill.

It started off with Florida Georgia Line rocking on the main stage and then Nick Carter appeared on a platform amidst the crowd and headed to the stage to join the gang. The pop group and the country music singers also entertained the mesmerized crowds with a throwback performance of "Everybody" with the icing of some country twist. Notably, Florida Georgia Line members had said before that working with Backstreet Boys was a dream for them.

Brian Kelley had expressed his happiness openly about working with Backstreet Boys in "Dig Your Roots." He said that it was awesome and totally inspiring and to see it come full circle reminded them to keep dreaming. It made them believe to dream big and to put out positive energy into the universe. Kelley also said that choosing Backstreet Boys was a very natural decision for them.

It is worth mentioning here that Florida Georgia Line has been nominated for five awards at the fifty-second Academy of Country Music Awards. The categories include album of the year for "Dig Your Roots," entertainer of the year, vocal duo of the year, single record of the year for "H.O.L.Y." and vocal event of the year for "May We All."
