Xiaomi, the Chinese tech giant seems to be working on the next Redmi Pro model. A new report tipped the launch of Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 later this month. The Redmi Pro 2 was already seen with many rumors earlier, but fresh rumor hints that the Smartphone will be featuring a Helio P25 processor instead of a Snapdragon 660 SoC. While, the previous rumors suggested the 660 SoC to be packed inside the device.

According to Xiaomi Today, Xiaomi Mi 6 Smartphone will be released on April 16 in a special conference by the company. This rumor was added with anoher one suggesting that another variant will hit the tech market known as the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus.  However, there is a new report claiming that Xiaomi will have another event in the end of March, in which the company will arrive with the amazing Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 Smartphone.

The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 Smartphone is reported to be powered with MediaTek Helio P25 processor instead of the not-yet-announced Snapdragon 660 processor. The MediaTek Helio P25 processor has an octa-core CPU which consists of four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at up to 2.5GHz and another four clocked up to 1.6GHz. It comes with the ARM Mali-T880MP4 GPU and support for Cat.6 LTE. Also, the Smartphone is expected to boom-in with two 12-megapixel sensors on the back with capabilities.

The Xiaomi Smartphone is expected to come with a 2.5D curved glass display. The processor is expected to be paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage and 6GB of RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage options. The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 with 4GB of RAM is tipped to cost CNY 1,599 and the 6GB of RAM variant is expected to retail at CNY 1,799.

Xiaomi has not made any official statements on Redmi Pro 2 Smartphone. So, readers are requested to take all the rumors with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more updates.
