Huawei, the Chinese techgiant launched its new smartwatch into the tech market at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, Spain. The smartwatch is named as Huawei Watch 2. The Huawei Watch 2 comes in two variants-the Huawei Watch 2 Classic and Huawei Watch 2.

Huawei has presented its new upgraded smartwatches to take up the rival smartwatches from other tech giants like the Samsung Gear S3, Apple Watch Series 2, Moto 360 and the newly launched LG Watch Style and Watch Sport. The detailed specifications and features that accompany the Huawei Watch 2 are mentioned below-

Build: The Huawei Watch 2 is built lighter than the previous model which weighs only 57 grams and measures 45mm x 48.3mm x 12.6mm. The smartwatch is made of a stainless steel body with gorilla glass 3 display. The Huawei Watch 2 and Watch 2 classic comes with a rubber-like plastic "sport" band and leather band respectively.

Display: The Huawei Watch 2 sports an AMOLED screen having 390x390 resolution with 326ppi pixel density for shaper viewing experience protected by gorilla glass 3. The Watch 2 also comes with an 'Always-on display' feature which adds on a low-power "dumb watch" mode for keeping time only, without smartwatch functionality.

Hardware: The smartwatch is powered by a Snapdragon 2100 chipset coupled together with a 2.3GB of internal storage. Also, the watch is incorporated with higher capacity battery than the previous model. The Watch 2 features a 420mAh battery in-order to power the watch for longer duration. Huawei also claims that the battery will power the watch for two days without any problem.

Features: The Huawei Watch 2 has IP68 waterproof and dustproof certification. The watch supports standalone cellular service which allows user to can use it to make calls without your phone, a heart rate sensor, NFC support, and a GPS support. The Huawei Watch 2 comes with Google newest smartwatch operating system-Androi Wear 2.0 OS.

The Huawei Watch 2 comes in black, gray with white dots and orange color options and the watch is scheduled to be launched around April in the U.S., UK, and Australia.
