It's the end of the road for the defending Super Bowl Champion Denver Broncos. This after the Kansas City Chiefs crashed the Broncos playoff dreams at the end of Week 12 via 33-10 loss at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs scored 21 points out of their 16 plays while the Broncos have nothing. The Chiefs sealed the fate of the Broncos early by preventing the team to the playoffs. The Kansas squad was already assured of the spot ahead of Sunday's game. Kansas City Chiefs have an 11-4 run and are heading to the playoffs for the third time in four seasons.

Starting low this season, the Broncos vowed a strong comeback week after week but they simply failed to do so. But they were on a 4-0 run when they left Tampa only to suffered defeat after defeat along the road to duplicate their feat in the previous season.

According to an ESPN report, the Broncos didn't win close games this season with their defense weakening game after game. Their offense was also excruciating to watch with their inability to manage the line of scrimmage prevented anything constructive from happening much of the time.
