Filming for the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 is currently now in full swing as the show's cast members are all being flown to different locations around the world. The latest leaks which include several set images reveal that the upcoming new season will apparently feature King's Landing as one of the main locations for the upcoming conflict.

Reports have revealed that the Seven Kingdom's capital may be featured as the main battleground for the inevitable clash between the Lannisters and Targaryens. The former is being headed by Queen Cersei played by Lena Headey and the latter by Targaryen army led by Daenerys played by Emilia Clarke.

In the past few seasons of the hit television adaptation of George R. R. Martin's best-selling novel series, "A Song of Ice and Fire," the city has been featuring the ongoing power struggle between the Lannisters and the different houses of Westeros. However, Queen Cersei's rule may become short-lived as Daenerys and her Dothraki army are hell-bent on bringing the city to its knees.

Several set photos which have been uploaded by fans on Twitter have revealed that majority of the stories' main plot points will be happening in King's Landing. Reports have revealed that some of the photos seems to showcase the final days of the Lannister's rule over the city, shortly before Daenerys sets it ablaze with her dragons.

Several reports have also claimed that a lot of the fighting within the city will involve the Mother of Dragon's fire-breathing reptiles. Set photos showed charred floors and smoke. Reports have then concluded that a lot of the destruction could be the work of the dragons when they finally arrive in King's Landing.

Filming for the new season started back in August and is expected to wrap up by February next year. "Game of Thrones" Season 7 is expected to air sometime in mid-2017 on HBO.
