Fox is continuously teasing the fans of Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) in the coming "Bones" Season 12. In fact, the network recently gave glimpses of the show and the 40-year-old actress' role for the first episode.

"Bones" Season 12's first episode will be titled "The Hope in the Horror" that may pertain Brennan's future. To recall, the forensic anthropologist has been kidnapped by his young assistant Zack Addy (Eric Millegan) in the previous season.

In a photo obtained by CarterMatt, Brennan is seen with Zack and it looks like the two are having an intense discussion in the coming "Bones" Season 12. It is still a big question if Zack is going to help or harm his former superior.

Many believe that there will be a major twist and turn of events happening in "Bones" Season 12 that will show that Zack is really not the bad guy. However, it is not yet revealed if the word "hope" from the show's premier episode is for Zack, Brennan or some other character.

Moreover, in other photos revealed by Fox, Zack can also be seen holding a big needle in front of Brennan in "Bones" Season 12. TVLine reported that there might be a reason why the initial is carrying a huge syringe.

Is he planning something bad against his victim? Fox didn't elaborate this scene as it is part of the big teaser of the coming "Bones" Season 12. As Booth is also seen working with the rest of FBI, they are evidently in a search to find his wife.

Meanwhile, the official synopsis of "Bones" Season 12 is now revealed by SpoilerTV. "The premiere picks up where last season's cliffhanger left off - Brennan has been kidnapped by her former assistant, Zack Addy (guest star Eric Milligan), as Booth and the rest of the lab desperately search for her," it read. "Bones" Season 12 will return on January 3 on Fox.
