Nokia prepares itself for its eventual return to the mobile phone market with Nokie D1C. The company previously ruled as king and now, several rumors have revealed details on the possible products that might be introduced by the company next year.

For the past several months, several details have allegedly been leaked which includes the specs and design for the company's new smartphone. Now, new reports have revealed the possible price points for the new Nokia device. It looks like the company may not be directly competing with other high-end mobile phone manufacturers as expected.

The report indicates that the company may be launching a new phone that will be aimed at mid-range mobile phone consumers this time around. HMD Global, the company in charge of manufacturing the new smartphones, had previously declared that the brand itself will be catering to a wide range of consumers. This will include not just high-end buyers but also mid to low-end consumer who they will aim to attract with their competitive prices.

The CEO of HMD Global, Arto Nummela, previously stated in an interview with an Indian publication that the company aims to take advantage of the brand, which has always been known to be "everyone's brand." He explains the brand allows them to have an extremely wide portfolio, which they plan to exploit.

According to previous reports from industry insiders, the first true Nokia-brand smartphone that will be released will be called the Nokia D1C. The mid-range Android smartphone will reportedly be equipped with decent specs that may include a full HD 5.5-inch display, a possible Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, and a 16 megapixel rear main shooter.

The new Nokia D1C smartphone is expected to make its debut during the upcoming 2017 Mobile World Congress to be held in February next year. The phone will reportedly be offered in two distinct variants that will cost $150 for the low-end model and $200 for the top-end model.
