Will NBA supertar Stephen join Curry Chicago Bulls in 2017? According to the latest NBA trade rumors, it might be plausible.

The Chicago Bulls became famous during the Michael Jordan Era. But since then, they became just a normal team. They went back to being one of the best teams few years ago when Derrick Rose is still at the height of his career. But injuries from Rose prevented the Bulls from rising further.

They went into the playoffs for 7 consecutive times from 2009-2015. But last season, they finished 9th in the Eastern Conference standings and didn't make the playoffs. In the offseason, Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah signed with the New York Knicks. But in exchange, the Bulls signed NBA veterans Rajon Rondo and Dwyane Wade.

This season, it looks like they will make the playoffs once again. With a 12-10 win-loss record, they are third in Central Division and 7th in the Eastern Conference. They lost 4 of their last 6 games. But the two wins that they collected came from a victory against NBA elite teams in Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs.

Now that Rose is gone, Bulls is clearly Jimmy Butler's team now. And he is having a breakout season in his first year as the Bulls' franchise player. Now on his 6th year, Butler is averaging 25.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.6 steals in 36.3 minutes of playing time, as per ESPN.

Stephen Curry will be a free agent this season which is why this NBA trade rumor has emerged. According to The Cheat Sheet, the Bulls could create enough cap space to sign Stephen Curry in the offseason. But they need to let go of Rajon Rondo if they want to sign Curry.

Stephen Curry is on his 8th season in the NBA right now. But he is still at the peak of his career. Now that he is playing alongside Durant, his points per game went down a little bit. If he will play for the Bulls, he could be primary offensive player once again.

He would also be a perfect fit in the system that Coach Fred Hoiberg is implementing in Chicago, as further discussed by The Cheat Sheet. Aside from that, Butler is also a young and talented player who could defend well and is also a reliable scorer. With him and Butler, the Bulls could be a good challenge for the Eastern Conference King Cleveland Cavaliers.

It is safe to say that Stephen Curry will play for the Golden State Warriors for the rest of the season given the fact that they are the league's best team right now. If they win it all this year, Curry will surely re-sign with the Warriors.

But if they felt short once again, will Stephen Curry consider playing for the Chicago Bulls and bring back the title hopes that the Bulls once have? Stay tuned for the latest NBA trade rumors and updates.
