Gamers that have spanned over two generations already know what Blizzard's staple is: Diablo 4: Dream Warriors and expect Blizzcon to reveal something about this projected title. According to several reports, Blizzard is already hiring people to work on an undisclosed project. Could this be the much-anticipated Diablo 4: Dream Warriors or rather just another Reaper of Souls extension?

There will be no Diablo 4

As gamers are trying to absorb any possible leads that could point towards Diablo 4: Dream Warriors, all crossed fingers suddenly dip lower because it was actually Diablo 3 all along. Sadly, no Diablo 4: Dream Warriors is coming out this year, nor next year, unless Blizzard is cooking a shocking surprise in months to come. Not even the 20th anniversary of the Diablo franchise can push for a new iteration.

About the Diablo 3 update

With the current turn of events, let us divert a bit from Diablo 4: Dream Warriors and look towards Diablo 3 in 2017 instead. While gamers are leaning towards the idea of remastering the original 1996 Diablo game, everyone should admit that Blizzard is always looking forward and has never stepped back to revive a title. But for 2017, there will be a compromise for Diablo 3, as well as the good old days, as per a report.

The Past and Future unite

What will happen while waiting for Diablo 4: Dream Warriors are the incorporation of the original 1996 game's dungeons and maps on the current Diablo 3. With that being said, Diablo 3 will definitely be a compromise of nostalgia and modernity of the whole Diablo franchise; a marriage of the past and the future so to speak.

Blizzard is constantly doing its job

Again, the only sad part is Diablo 4: Dream Warriors not seeing daylight. But nevertheless, gamers are still lucky that Blizzard is continually bent on giving updates and DLCs to all of its titles, which would definitely include Diablo 3.
