For quite some time, Klay Thompson has been the actor of several NBA trade rumors. After Kevin Durant came to Warriors this summer, there were speculations that the all-star shooting guard will leave the Bay sooner than he planned.

It's quite noticeable that Durant is getting a lot of isolation plays. As that isn't the typical play of Golden State Warriors, Thompson and the other players playing with KD just tend to watch him take on his defender.

Since Warriors are known for moving the ball very well, the players are not satisfied with Durant's isolation plays and especially for Thompson. This Big 4 era (Durant, Thompson, Stephen Curry and Draymond Green) is not going very well for him since he's sacrificing a lot of ball time when Durant is in the game. In comparison to last season, Klay isn't making the same amount of shots.

Fans can understand that these isolation plays are planned to keep Durant satisfied while playing with Golden State Warriors. However, it seems like Thompson is not happy anymore. Having that in mind, NBA trade rumors suggest that Thompson might demand a trade soon.

The good thing is that these are just speculations circulating online. Based on statistics, Klay Thompson is not disadvantaged in any way. As for last season, he was taking an average of 17.3 shots per game. This season, he is averaging 16.7 shots and that is only one shot less compared to last year.

When talking about scoring, the all-star guard has an average this year of 20.7 points. It's a bit less efficient but that isn't because he is taking less shots than usual. It's mainly a result of him missing a lot of attempts.

Still, it's highly unlikely that Thompson will be leaving the Warriors. That could happen next year, but this season, it's just not possible. Considering the way they are playing right now, enjoying a 12-game streak, Golden State Warriors are again one of the favorites to reach the NBA Finals next summer. Thompson would certainly won't let go of that chance to win another ring.

Yet, if this season doesn't end up with a championship for Golden State Warriors, Klay Thompson maybe leave the Bay to play for a team where he would be the focus of the offense. His potentials are quite obvious and since he is still young, he would carry a team on his own someday in the near future.

The question is, would Klay Thompson really take his talents out of Golden State Warriors? Stay tuned for the latest NBA trade rumors and updates.
