While iPhone enthusiasts are waiting for the next device in line, rumor has it that Apple is going to launch an all-glass casing for iPhone 8.

As cited by MacRumors. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that this step will be taken for a faster wireless charging.

Although mobiles with metal casing also supports wireless charging, but they do not charge as fast as the glass casing ones.

According to IBT, Kuo also stated that the chargers of glass casing iPhones might only be supplied by Pegatron.

It hasn't been disclosed yet whether this special feature will be available in both IPhone 8 and IPhone 8 plus, or only in the former one. But by 2018, Apple is expected to bring out every new device with a glass body.

Kuo is not sure whether the wireless charging device will come separately as an accessory or will be packed along the mobile device.

It's been also claimed that Chief Design Officer (CDO) of Apple Inc., Jony Ive has been planning to launch an iPhone that looks like a single sheet of glass for several years.

IBT explains the main problems that users often face while using a wireless charger. The need to set down the device on the wireless charger plate and wait until the charging is complete has become extremely time consuming for customers.

Even a small movement can cause the cords in the charger to move out of place and charging tends to stop midway.

With usual metal body devices, electricity loss is more and if manufactures go for a thicker case, the device becomes bulkier.

It has been speculated that on the occasion of Apple's 10th anniversary, iPhone 8 will sport an OLED display, a multi-sensor camera and a display embedded fingerprint sensor.

Apple is expected to release the iPhone 8 in September 2017.
