The 2016 season of the Washington Wizards seems to be in jeopardy. They've lost 4 games in their last 6 outings and seems to be on verge of falling out at the bottom of the standings. Could a potential NBA trade deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder that involves Otto Porter Jr. and Marcin Gortat solve their misery?

The Wizards had a productive 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 season where they were able to advance to the playoffs for two consecutive years. However, the 2015-2016 season was a disappointment as they lost key players from injury and trades and it looks like the misfortunes continue this season.

The majority of the production is being handled by John Wall and Bradley Beal. Both players are averaging 20+ points per game and many believe that they can't maintain this the whole 82-games and need support from other teammates. Now, a rumored deal is swirling around the league between the Wizards and Thunder.

A proposed deal is being suggested to the Washington Wizards and Oklahoma City Thunder that involves 6 players. Trade scenario is suggesting that the Wizards will send Otto Porter Jr., Marcin Gortat, and Kelly Oubre to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Wizard will then receive Enes Kanter, Andre Roberson and Kyle Singler in return.

And as per checking with ESPN NBA Trade Machine, the trade is a legal deal and will be approved by NBA officials under the NBA trade rules and salary cap policy set by the league. Now that the deal passes thru the eyes of the officials, will it be beneficial to both teams?

The Thunder will get a reliable small forward (Porter) that can help Russell Westbrook in the offensive end while having Gortat will give them a veteran backup center for Steven Adams. While sophomore Oubre will be quality small forward coming off the bench.

As for the Wizards, they will have Kanter as a young scoring big man that could support Wall and Beal in offense while Roberson is a good perimeter defender that could stop the best players in the East like LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Paul George, Jimmy Butler and DeMar DeRozan.

However, this rumor is still speculation and none of the teams involved have confirmed it.

Will the Washington Wizards and Oklahoma City Thunder agree on this potential NBA trade?
