In his ten-year history of playing a role of Sheldon Cooper, The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons was always busy with projects outside of CBS. Those projects were usually in front of the camera. However, that'll be changing soon thanks to his That's Wonderful Productions which is founded with his work partner/life partner Todd Spiewak.

The couple's latest project is the intriguing comedy "The Monarchy Is Going to Sh*t." According to reports, the show has found a potential home at Freeform. Jim Parsons will be working with Freeform in developing unexpected new TV series that is still in its earliest days.

As the project landed a script engagement at the network, it should go forward all the way to show and transport its viewers to the Monarchy of Andova. The storyline of the comedy would circle around everything going messy when it's discovered that Andova's king has an illegitimate son.

Naturally, big reveal hits the king's daughter the hardest since she has spent her whole life waiting for the day when she would become country's first reigning queen. She is furious because she didn't work so hard only to see her trouble was unfruitful and her throne taken away once this new rightful scum has been recognized.

As THR reported, Amy Reed will handle writing duties. She will be a co-executive producer along with Jim Parsons and Todd Spiewak. It's assumed that Freeform has high hopes for the new comedy show, even though its first step toward bringing it to audiences wasn't all that big.

As fans all know, even the most anticipated projects have problems on the rating front when getting delayed. So, the good news must come and lhope that The Monarchy Is Going to Sh*t will be just that kind of news .

The Big Bang Theory has yet to be rewarded for its high ratings with a renewal for Season 11. No matter how that project goes, Jim Parsons has the inspirational drama Hidden Figures on his way.

Also, he recently signed on to play BuzzFeed writer Matt Stopera for the Internet-driven true story Brother Orange. That project will also be co-produced by That's Wonderful.

Todd Spiewak and Jim Parsons's company recently continued with the comedy Lakeside VA that landed a put pilot order at ABC, along with the novel adaptation drama The Terranauts, set up at The CW.

Fans of "The Big Bang Theory" star Jim Parsons can keep their ear tight to the castle's walls in case we hear anything else about The Monarchy Is Going to Sh*t in weeks to come.
