Jason Momoa is reportedly not in negotiations to take on a role in the upcoming "Batman vs. Superman".

In an interview with IGN, Momoa explained he is not associated with "Man of Steel 2" in any way.  Momoa was rumored to be auditioning for the role of Doomsday in the upcoming film.

"It's just rumors," Momoa told IGN. "I want to say something amazing, but I can't comment on rumors. It's flattering...I'm not involved in it."

Momoa might not be Doosmday in "Batman vs. Superman", but the Man of Steel villain is expected in the film, according to Hollywood producer Daniel Alter.

According to Batman-News.com, Alter also claims there will be a second villain featured in the upcoming film.  The second villain is rumored to be Lex Luthor, but Alter is unsure which actor is up for the role, even though he has heard "Breaking Bad" actor Bryan Cranston's name come up multiple times.

"Doomsday will be a villain in Batman vs. Superman. Big, strong actors have been rumored to a villain role, including Jason Momoa, Callan Mulvey, and even Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. It's very likely that they could be up for Doomsday," Batman-News reports.

Director Zack Snyder has confirmed to multiple publications that his vision for "Man of Steel 2" is like nothing fans have seen before, including the role of Wonder Woman in the series, which is what Lois Lane actress Amy Adams wants to hear.

Adams explained to ComingSoon.net before Gal Gadot's casting news she doesn't want "Batman vs. Superman" to turn into a love triangle.

"Am I interested? I don't know," Adams told ComingSoon.net, referring to the possible addition of Wonder Woman at the time. "I mean, we'll see. I hope that I can be involved with a woman on screen where we're not in a love triangle. That would be fun. Maybe where we team up together and we work as teammates instead of adversaries...Wouldn't it be nice if women weren't always just, like, cat-fighting and stuff?"

"Batman vs. Superman" is set to hit theaters on July 15, 2015.
