For those who have been upset about not being able to get the Mac Pro in Europe can now start placing their orders.

Apple has refrained from selling the older Mac Pro in Europe since March last year. The changes in European regulations required extra shielding on fans and electrical ports not available on Apple's desktop design. The new improved Mac Pro now is available to European customers who can start placing orders for the redesigned desktop.

According to a report from MacGeneration (via 9to5Mac), the new Mac Pro is in the process of reaching its customers in Europe and customers will start getting their shipments as early as January 14. New orders, however, will arrive at customers' doorsteps only by February.

Apple started offering its upgradable Mac Pro through its Online Store in mid December, and started delivering the product to the first batch by December 30. Apple offers two preconfigured Mac Pros, one sells for $2,999 (3.099 EUR) and another for $3,999 (4.099 EUR). Owners can upgrade the desktop with improved CPU, graphics, RAM, and storage. A fully loaded Mac Pro will set you back by no less than $10,000, but if you want to add a 4K display, it will cost extra. Apple's Thunderbolt Display and a Sharp-made 4K display retails for $3,595.

Both the Mac Pros feature different specifications. The lower model features a 3.7GHz quad-core Intel Xeon E5 processor, a dual AMD FirePro D300 GPUs with 2GB of VRAM each, 12GB of memory, and 256GB flash storage. The higher model features 3.5 GHz 6-core Intel Xeon E5 processor, dual AMD FirePro D500 GPUs with 3GB of VRAM each, 16GB of memory and 256GB flash storage. Both models carry an "Assembled in the USA" label.
