Qualcomm's limited time promotion on its wearable Toq smartwatch is nearing its end as the CES 2014 week concludes. The deal, which ends Saturday midnight, drops the price of the smartwatch by $50, selling for $300.

The International Consumer Electronics Show brought some of the most innovative ideas in the tech world. While the event showcased a slew of wearable tech from different manufacturers, Qualcomm used this as an opportunity to sell its Toq smartwatch, which was first unveiled at a developer conference in San Diego, September 2013, by slashing the price by $50. Qualcomm participated in the event with its first in-car infotainment system powered by Snapdragon and new UHD processor for TVs and STBs among other things.

Qualcomm showed off its newest edition, black Toq in December but a hefty price tag attached to its smartwatch did not gain it much customers. The new limited time offer makes the Toq smartwatch equivalent to Samsung GEAR, in terms of its price. The watch sells for $299.99 on its official website and through Amazon, but is valid until Saturday midnight.

"To celebrate the International Consumer Electronics Show, taking place in Las Vegas this week, we are delighted to announce a special offer of $50 off the regular retail price of the black Qualcomm Toq smartwatch," the promotional message reads.

Qualcomm Toq is equipped with a unique Mirasol touch screen display that offers full color display and also long-lasting battery life, up to 5 days on single charge, compared to 10 hours of battery on GEAR. The watch features a backlight, a touchpad, and its own OS with support for Android-based smartphones. Convenient charging style with its WiPower LE wireless charger gives Toq an upper hand over other smartwatches in the market.
