CBS American action police procedural television series, Hawaii Five-0, is on its Season 7 and about to air the midseason finale episode on November 18. Fans of the series can't keep their excitement about the events that are possibly going to be seen in episode 9.

Rumor has it that the upcoming episode is going to give the viewers some major cliffhangers. The previous seasons have been engaging enough to keep the audience's eyes on the series, but the showrunners have revealed that the series is going to be more exciting as time it approaches winter break.

According to Movie News Guide, fans and followers of the show should expect three major cliffhangers that would want them to yearn for another episode to follow. It reported that the series' creator, Peter Lenkov, has revealed that they had never made a cliffhanger of the show's midseason finale before, but he hinted that they are including it in the script this time.

A lot of series have been doing this and it wouldn't hurt for them to try this method on this season. It would hurt the audience though, knowing that the following episodes are not going to be aired until next year.

The source also reported that the cliffhangers would include Chin Ho Kelly and Sara's Custody, and Catherine and Steve's relationship. Peter Lenkov did not reveal much about the details of the cliffhangers. But it can be assured that the viewers will be left with exciting events and probably anticipate more of the second half of season 7.

However, some reports have claimed that no matter how exciting the series' events are, fans are ging to be devastated that one of the show's main casts is rumored to be departing. According to Parent Herald, actor Alex O'Loughlin, who portrays main protagonist Steve McGarrett, is rumored to exit from the series.

Following this, Hawaii Five-0 is speculated for a cancellation by CBS because the series would not be the same without the lieutenant character. The speculation about the actor leaving the show started when he reportedly said that he is exhausted of portraying the role.

But according to an interview, the showrunner had reportedly said that if ever the rumors about O'Loughlin leaving is true, it would still be possible for the series to continue without him. But still, fans are hoping that the actor stays to retain its originality from the first season.
