TLC's reality television series Counting On patriarchs, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, had broken their silence about the divorce rumors that they have been facing for some time now.

Previous reports have been claiming that the reality couple are likely to divorce because the problems that they are currently experiencing had reportedly taken a toll on their marriage. But this time the couple had finally addressed the issue to their concerned fans.

The Duggar parents took to social media, to Twitter specifically, their response about the rumored divorce. On November 13, the couple tweeted, "Don't believe everything you read in the tabloids! Michelle and I have been married for over 32 years and are more in love than ever!" The said tweet is supposed to shut down non-stop rumors that push their marriage to the edge.

According to The Hollywood Gossip, the main reason for the divorce speculations is the family's apparent financial troubles that mainly started after their eldest son's (Josh Duggar) scandal last year. The trouble reportedly made it hard for the couple to raise their huge family of nineteen children, adding that Josh's scandal had made a huge impact to the future of the family's reality series.

It can be remembered that the incident about the eldest Duggar molesting underage girls, including his sisters, has shocked the fans of the former series 19 Kids And Counting and the family's decision to not report it to authority immediately had caused the situation to worse. This consequently resulted to withdrawal of sponsors and advertisers of the series, which later caused TLC network to cancel the show.

Although the spinoff series, Counting On, followed later, it is reportedly not getting enough support and sponsors of the current spinoff are not enough to keep the show going.

According to The Stir, the cancellation of Counting On may really be happening because several advertisers had reportedly decided to cut ties with the network, obviously because of the never-ending issues about the Josh Duggar incident last year.

It was even reported that the Duggar family might not land any more reality television series once this happens. But still, fans are waiting for TLC's official statement about the issue, and hopes that the network finds a way to keep the show running.
