SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket burst into flames on Cape Canaveral Air Force Base launch pad last September. Finally, Space X founder Elon Musk has spoken about when his spaceflight company may resume the Falcon 9 launch.

Nature world news quoted Elon Musk saying that he aimed for a December launch.

The maverick businessman is reported to have said that they have discovered the cause of the explosion. Accordingly, the liquid oxygen used as a propellant is the likely cause of the explosion.

The rocket was reportedly being fueled when the blast occurred while the liquid oxygen was cooler than usual. The incident also involved interaction between supercool liquid oxygen and helium bottles, which contributed to the explosion.

"It basically involves liquid helium, advanced carbon fiber composites, and solid oxygen," said SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.

NASA is worried about SpaceX unique way of fuelling rockets, which was performed minutes before the launch. The problems seem to be new, and not encountered by anyone in the industry.

But Elon Musk is not one to be deterred and he is ready to go again.

The incident took down a Facebook internet satellite. The need of the hour seems to be safety precautions and help from government agencies like the US Air Force and the Federal Aviation Administration.

The report added that SpaceX clients are quite sure that the company will deliver its promises and will resume launch soon.

SpaceX is an ambitious space travel company, who looks to give people space tours in the future.
