This is certainly bad news for fans of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson who have been waiting for the ex-lovers to reunite for the yet-to-be-announced Twilight sequel. Stewart has indicated an indifference of sorts for the said project and it looks like the chances of her saying yes to the Twilight sequel are very slim.

In her recent interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Stewart said that Twilight was an awkward experience for her, reports Inquisitr. Host Ellen started by displaying a picture of the actress when she had come on her show last time, roughly five years ago. Then she proceeded to ask her about the iconic role of Bella Swan and Stewart revealed that when she was doing 'Twilight,' it was an awkward time in her life.

She waxed eloquent about the discomfort she felt while wearing the hair extensions in order to play Bella and said that she does not jump right back into those memories but as soon as she sees pictures she is like 'Oh God, it is like yesterday.' She also revealed how her personal space was hijacked when she was part of the Twilight franchise.

According to the actress, she became someone people looked up to and wanted to know everything about. While a part of her believed it to be a good experience as it helped her come out of her shell, it did not make the whole thing any less awkward as she was just a teenager when it all started. She also admitted that she was a shy person by nature.

Talking about her career, she said that she is more interested in independent films, claims iTechPost. She also said that she goes by her gut while choosing movies and has never been let down by her instincts. So, does that mean her gut does not tell her to step into the shoes of Bella Swan?

Sadly, the answer seems yes and more so in the wake of the recent rumors which suggest that Stewart is turning down the project to take revenge upon Robert Pattinson who is said to be expecting a baby with his fiancée FKA Twigs.
