The G5 has made a successful splash in the mobile market. LG hopes to repeat or even better this feat with its new G6 flagship.

Perhaps the more feasible way to propel the LG G6 into contention is by mounting key specifications that will excite or astonish probable buyers and clients.

With the G5, the South Korean-based tech group manages to fascinate users and enthusiasts with the device's vital components. This time, the G6 will integrate the mobile industry's mainstream elements.

Being prioritized by the LG Innotek division is the unit's high level security feature. The incorporation of an iris scanner and a wireless charging attribute into the G6's body will definitely boost the stock of the new product.

During the Korea Electronics Show 2016 last October, it has been unveiled that the scanner was integrated into the front-facing camera with a filter tool to boot. This means that the item will validate the owner's identity prior to accessing the device. A sensor will be utilized for the authentication process.

In addition, the upcoming LG flagship will be featuring a charging mode that allows the unit's battery to gain 50 percent of its power within half an hour of refurbishment.

In order to make the G6 more competitive in the mobile market, the company is instituting a design that puts premium on aluminum and polished glass. An OLED surface will be provided in order to keep images clearer, brighter and sharper. Just like the G5, it is likely that the G6 will have a 5.3-inch Quad HD LCD screen.

It is believed that the new LG will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 830 processor that runs the Android 7.0 Nougat OS. It has also been rumored that aside from a 32GB built-in storage, a dual camera and a Type-C USB connectivity will also be installed.

The LG G6 is slated to be launched during the Mobile World Congress in Spain in February next year.
