Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were the talk of the town since he released a statement last week about his relationship with the "Suit" actress. People were expecting that they would soon make their first public appearance during Saturday's rugby match.

However, Prince Harry was not accompanied by Meghan Markle on a rugby match between England and South Africa at Twickenham Stadium in London.

According to E! Online, Markle was not even in the country and had left for Toronto. Prince Harry was accompanied by Princess Charlene of Monaco, wife of Prince Albert II, who was raised in South Africa.

Harry, who is the Vice Patron of the English team was seen congratulating the England team after their victory against South Africa 37-21.

Prince Harry and his girlfriend Meghan Markel have never been photographed together.

After Prince Harry confirmed his relationship with Meghan Markle, he had also requested for privacy. So it was not so surprising when the couple did not step out together in public.

In an interview Markle gave to Esquire U.K. in 2013, she said that she loves British guys and how they dressed.

She said, "I love how British guys dress for the cold."

"I'm from L.A. so I'm used to seeing people in sunglasses and flip-flops. There's something so romantic about a man in a scarf and a knitted hat."

Recently Prince Harry attacked the media for "wave of abuse" against Markle. He revealed that he had never before witnessed such a "degree of pressure, scrutiny and harassment." He added that he now feared for the safety of Meghan and her family.

According to E! Online Prince Harry visited the Fields of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey in London. Meghan was spotted Thursday walking alone down a street Kensington Palace while carrying Whole Food bags. The palace has not commented whether she stayed or the didn't stay at the royal residence, as suggested by many reports.
